One – Writing articles and submitting your articles to the top article directories. There are hundreds of article directories online but the idea here is to focus on the top 5 to 10. EzineArticles only requires your articles to be at least 250 words. This makes it very easy to set a goal of writing and submitting one article per day. You would be surprised at how much traffic you will begin to acquire once you consistently add articles to these directories. Some directories require articles as long as 500 words so you’ll need to pay attention to the submission requirements of each AD.
Two – Forums. In order to gain traffic from forums you’ll need to select a forum that is related to your niche. You’ll also want to make sure they allow you to leave live links in your signature file. The most important thing about acquiring traffic from a forum is for you to become a well liked contributor. Even establishing yourself as an authority on the topic. I have personally found a great deal of targeted traffic comes from this type of marketing.
Three – The third way is super easy. I mean it’s down right silly-easy. If you are selling a product, add an image of that product to your site. Add a good keyword to that image, a short description and a link back to your site. Google picks up many images and adds them to their image directory. You would be surprised at just how much traffic this can generate. And all you had to do was add the right alt-tags, link it, and describe it. Not bad huh?
