4.How does it pay you?
You have to consider how the affiliate program makes it payments?Are they paying out by Paypal, direct bank transfer or check? Depending on where in the world you are based you may not have access to Paypal, so if that is the only method of payment then you will struggle to receive your commissions. If they pay by check and you are not based in the same country as the originating bank the bank charges may be crippling, particularly if you can’t set the payout level.There have been programs which send a $20 check which would cost you $35 to cash in your own country!

Some affiliate program managers over inflate the value of their programs to cover the affiliate payments. For example, a product may have normally sold for $50 but to cover the 50% commission, they bump up the price to $75 or higher.If you were its target market, would you buy the product yourself.
