You will need time to become a trusted blogger and much effort for quality posts. But once you get there blogging will generate much more interest in your site. You can also add useful, link-bait content to blog posts. Thus, your webpage will get some of the value of the page your post is placed at.
You can also do blog commenting. It’s simple yet very profitable as it will get plenty of comments and trackbacks links leading to your site. Remember that again you should find the most highly ranked posts with and comment on them.
Get backlinks from some major directories like Yahoo! and DMOZ. Their links are highly valuable. But it might take a couple of weeks for your backlink request to be approved.
Search for forums that are in the same niche and have the same keywords as your site. There you should search for posts that require reply. Look for the page with the highest page rank that has reply options and post your reply with your signature box there. Answer only those questions you are sure you are competent about. Otherwise, you might get marked as spam. These are effective and solid ways to get one-way links to your site.
