Bloggers the world over blog about a variety of topics and issues. Some blog about politics, some about golf, some about football, some about cooking and so on.
Many newbie bloggers quite often ask the question “what do I blog about?” Starting your own blog can seem to be quite a daunting task for many, but one blogging tip to take heed of and consider very closely is to choose a blog for a niche subject that you are familiar with.
Take the examples above for instance. A newbie blogger may be a golf fanatic so the initial idea may be to build a blog about golf. This is fine if you know a lot a bout golf, but you may find that getting your “golf” blog noticed can be a huge uphill task when in competition with so many other golf blogs. Many of which have been established for many years and have enjoyed some success.
That being so, why not consider a narrower niche blog? Instead of a general golf blog, why not set up a niche blog about a certain aspect of golf. For instance, you good set up a niche blog for golf equipment, or how to perfect your golf swing, or for any new golfers a golf blog set up as a golf beginners guide.
